No one to talk to
The more visible a person is, the fewer people they have they can really talk to. That is not a nice phrase: it is arithmetic.
How the circle closes
Beyond a certain position, every conversation becomes a calculated risk.
- The board is politics. What is said there is used later.
- Family is worry. Telling it at home means burdening someone who can do nothing about it.
- The old friend is a person — and people talk, without ill intent, over dinner.
- The team depends on you. Showing a doubt moves things that do not settle back afterwards.
So it stays inside. For months. Sometimes for years.
What we hear most often
It is not «help me». It is a far simpler sentence, and it almost always arrives at the same point in the conversation, once the person has relaxed:
«I have never told anyone this.»
Sometimes that is already half the way. Not because there is magic in saying it, but because a situation never formulated aloud has never been examined. It has been lived, which is another thing entirely.
Why the silence works both ways
Someone highly exposed cannot afford an interlocutor who talks. That is why our protocol is not a commercial argument but a condition of existence: no names, no lists, no third parties. If that part fails, everything else is beside the point.
It is also why you will find no case, no reference and no testimonial here. Not because we have none: showing them would destroy precisely what makes it possible for someone to write to us.
An observation, without a conclusion
People rarely come when the problem is at its worst. They come when they have kept it to themselves too long. Those are two different things — and the second can be measured: if you have gone more than six months without saying it aloud to anyone, you already know something about your situation.
If your situation requires it, present it.
